Our relationship started
the way many relationships start these days. We know you've seen the commercials. The
eHarmony guy comes on the tv screen, talking about how his system
matches on a number of levels of compatibility. Well, now you
can say you know a couple that has met online, because we found each
other through eHarmony.com.
The funny thing is, we
may have seen each other before we met online. Ashley lived in
the same apartment complex as my sister, so there were
many times when our cars were parked within 10-20 feet away from
each other. We both had to sign up online to bridge that short
gap and finally meet.
After dating for many
months, we moved in together in December of 2005. On the day
before Valentine's Day (I couldn't wait one more day), I asked
Ashley to be my wife and she accepted! We decided to wait
until June of 2007 to get married because Ashley wanted an outdoor
summer wedding, and we felt like the summer of 2006 was too
soon. Weddings take time to
plan!
